Weather in Cyprus in July

July and August are the hottest months of the year. Days are ideal for sea and water sports and this is what most of the people, locals and visitors, do. The sky is always blue, clouds rarely seen, no rain at all and temperature above 30 degrees every single day. You should be carefull, however, to enjoy the sun taking all proper protections, sun burns are usual during the summer and severe ones are painful and can easily spoil your holidays.

Temperature at coastal areas rise on average between 30 and 33 degrees, in the inlands 35 to 37 degrees and at Troodos mountains between 28 and 32. Heat waves with temperatures around or above 40 degrees in the inlands and around 35 degrees in the coastal areas happen regularly. Night temperatures are between 20 and 24 degrees. Daylight hours are 14 and sunshine 11-12 hours per day. Daylight lasts until 8:30 in the evening.
