Stavros tis Psokas map

Stavros tis Psokas lies in the Paphos forest. As you can see on the map, there are two routes when you plan to visit Stavros tis Psokas. The first route starts from Paphos area while the second starts from Polis area.

Directions from Paphos to Stavros tis Psokas

From Paphos, take the road connecting Paphos woth Polis Chrysochous. After about 15 km, you must turn right towards Polemi village. The turn is about 5 km after Tsada village and just before Stroumbi village. On the map below, there are a few more villages between Polemi village and Panagia village. These are, in the row you meet them, Psathi, Agios Dimitrianos, Kannaviou and Asprogia. The road is surfaced, in very good condition and two - directional. The road has steep turns at a few points, so drive carefuly. You will see signs guiding you towards Stavros tis Psokas. Some of the roads from this point, are not surfaced (dirt roads) but generally they are in good condition and easy to drive with any car. However, during winter time, these roads might be not so good to drive after rain. It is a 40 to 50 minutes drive from Paphos.

Directions from Polis Chrysochous to Stavros tis Psokas

In a similar way, from Polis area take the road connecting Polis with Paphos.From Goudi village,which is about 4-5 km after Polis Chrysochous, turn left towards Lysos. Follow the signs towards Lysos and then Stavros tis Psokas. It is about 30 to 40 minutes drive from Polis.

Other useful information

At Kannaviou village there are restaurants where you can eat for lunch. On your way to Stavros tis Psokas, there are also a few wineries, where you can stop for wine tasting. Some of them also offer food.
